Representatives of the COSARAF Foundation were delighted to attend the King’s Trust 50th Anniversary Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on Thursday 14th May, joining supporters, partners, ambassadors and young people in celebrating five decades of transformational impact.
Attending on behalf of the Foundation were our Chair Haroon Sheikh alongside his daughters, Zayba and Aisha Sheikh, as well as Trustees Farouq Sheikh and his wife, Seema Sheikh.
The special occasion marked an important milestone for The King’s Trust, recognising 50 years of dedication to empowering young people, creating opportunities, and supporting communities both across the UK and internationally.
As proud supporters of the King’s Trust since 2010, the COSARAF Foundation has valued more than 15 years of partnership with an organisation whose work and impact the Foundation deeply admires. Throughout this longstanding relationship, both organisations have shared a commitment to supporting young people through opportunity, enterprise, education, and social mobility.
Over the past four years, the Foundation has proudly supported The King’s Trust Enterprise programme in the UK through a dedicated funding agreement. The programme has helped aspiring young entrepreneurs develop the skills, confidence, and support networks needed to build sustainable futures for themselves and their communities.
While the current four-year UK Enterprise agreement has recently concluded, we are pleased to be exploring opportunities to renew and continue this important partnership into the future.
Alongside its UK support, we are also currently partnering with the King’s Trust International through funding of the Enterprise Challenge programme in Pakistan. The initiative supports young people with entrepreneurial skills development, innovation, and practical business knowledge, helping to create pathways towards employment, self-sufficiency, and long-term economic empowerment.
The Pakistan programme reflects the Foundation’s wider international commitment to supporting underserved communities and creating sustainable opportunities for young people globally.
The 50th Anniversary Garden Party provided a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the importance of dedication, shared values and loyal partnerships. It also served as a celebration of the collective impact that can be achieved through long-term collaboration and a shared vision for social change.
The COSARAF Foundation remains immensely proud of its longstanding relationship with the King’s Trust and looks forward to continuing this special partnership for many years to come.
