From Classrooms to Care: COSARAF Trustees Witness Impact at The Noor Project

The news

COSARAF trustees recently visited The Noor Project in Pakistan, gaining valuable insight into the breadth of programmes delivered by our partners and witnessing first-hand the impact of this important work.

The visit, held on 5 February 2026, provided an opportunity to review progress across multiple services, strengthen relationships with the leadership team, and engage directly with beneficiaries across the campus.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Founder Khalid Sheikh, President Khalid Babar, and members of the administrative team. The visit began with a presentation and screening of the latest impact video, alongside a review of the 2025 Impact Booklet.

Trustees then undertook a full campus tour, visiting:

  • The Vocational Training Centre

  • The Grammar School, where trustees met both preschool and senior students

  • The Hospital facilities

  • The Noor Girls Orphanage

Across the site, the scale of provision was evident, with programmes spanning education, healthcare, vocational skills, and residential care.

A particularly memorable part of the visit was time spent at the Noor Girls Orphanage. Trustees joined the residents for lunch, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.

As a special treat, COSARAF sponsored the girls’ favourite meal, KFC fried chicken, which was served to 160 orphaned children and NGH staff. The shared meal provided a meaningful opportunity for informal interaction and connection with the young residents.

The visit formed part of COSARAF’s ongoing commitment to maintaining close, collaborative relationships with our partners on the ground. Spending time across the various departments enabled trustees to deepen their understanding of programme delivery and explore areas for future collaboration.

COSARAF is grateful to the Noor Project team for their generous hospitality and for the vital work they continue to deliver in support of vulnerable communities.

We look forward to continuing this important partnership in the years ahead.

“The Noor Project was privileged to receive the distinguished COSARAF delegation, including esteemed board members, family representatives, and senior officials. The delegation’s comprehensive visit to our academic and vocational facilities, along with their meaningful interaction with the girls at the orphanage, was deeply appreciated. Their encouraging words and gracious presence have further reinforced our commitment to advancing quality education and compassionate care for the communities we serve.”
