COSARAF Hosts 4th Annual Open Iftar at Iconic Silverstone

The news

COSARAF was honoured to host our 4th Annual Open Iftar in partnership with the Ramadan Tent Project, and for the first time ever, at the iconic Silverstone Circuit.

Known globally as the historic home of the British Grand Prix and one of the world’s most famous motorsport venues, Silverstone provided a truly memorable setting as we welcomed over 500 guests, including partners, scholars and members of the public, to break fast together.

The evening centred on the theme of hope, reflecting COSARAF’s continued commitment to supporting communities through education, skills and nourishment. Guests heard thoughtful reflections from Eesa Sheikh, who spoke about the importance of nurturing hope alongside the Foundation’s programme work.

We were also honoured by the closing words of Abdal Hakim Murad, Scholar and Founder of Cambridge Muslim College, whose remarks provided a fitting and inspiring conclusion to the evening.

Family representatives were delighted to be present and to connect with partners and scholars on the night, engaging warmly with many of our guests throughout the evening. The Open Iftar continues to provide a valuable platform for bringing together diverse communities in a spirit of reflection, generosity and shared experience.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who joined us for this special milestone event, and to #TeamTeal for their excellent event management, as always.

As our Open Iftar continues to grow year on year, we look forward to building further on this spirit of community and hope in the years ahead.
