Opening Doors: COSARAF Renews Support for Future Women in STEM

The news

The COSARAF Foundation has renewed its funding partnership with the African Gifted Foundation, continuing to support two Muslim girls to study at the African Science Academy (ASA) in Ghana.

The African Science Academy is Africa’s first girls-only advanced science and mathematics academy, providing exceptional young women with the opportunity to excel in STEM subjects. With COSARAF’s renewed zakat-funded grant, two students will receive full support for their studies over the academic year, developing the skills and knowledge needed to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

This continued partnership reflects COSARAF Foundation’s commitment to widening access to high-quality education for underrepresented groups and helping young women overcome barriers to participation in STEM fields. By investing in education, the Foundation supports long-term, sustainable change that empowers individuals, strengthens families and uplifts communities.

The COSARAF Foundation looks forward to following the students’ progress as they complete their studies and build futures full of opportunity.
