COSARAF funds Ghusal (washing and shrouding) parlour for Kenya masjid

The Foundation is pleased to have been able to support the building of this essential provision at the masjid.

When a Muslim dies, it is the responsibility of his family or other Muslims within the local community to wash him according to the Islamic rites of washing the deceased.

The donation has been used to fund the construction of a Ghusal parlour in the wider Abubakr masjid complex being built in Isiolo, Kenya. This has provided a much needed resource to the area, where along with the masjid, did not exist previously in the region.

The COSARAF Foundation has also funded the doors, windows, window panes and putty for the main masjid building.
