Bangladeshi orphans benefit during Ramadan

We were pleased to be able to support a new partner delivering a Ramadan food programme this year in Bangladesh, the Nabiganj Darul Ulum Madrasha and Orphan Centre.

This year we donated £2,900 to the madrasha and orphan centre operating in Nabiganj, a district of Sylhet, in Bangladesh. This grant helped provide the Ramadan feeding programme of sehri and iftar meals to 100 boy orphans living at the centre.  This year saw the orphans benefiting from a diet of good nourishment and quality food that they don’t often have access to.  This consequently put them in good stead for the month of fasting.

The committee were very grateful for the support and look forward to working with the Foundation in the future.
