Ramadan feeding in Zimbabwe

Our loyal partners, the Hatcliffe Extension Charitable Trust, have supported Muslim families living in hardship in Zimbabwe, with Ramadan food hampers and providing Iftar meals at local mosques.

We donated £10,000 to our partner HECT to provide their annual Ramadan feeding programme.

The funding was used to provide Ramadan food hampers for 3 centres – Kasimure Masjid in Lions Den (130km from Harare), Seke Islamic Centre and DZ Extension Masjid, to 240 families.

Food for iftar meals was provided at the DZ Extension Masjid and Ash Shukri Life Foundation, Murehwa (150km from Harare), feeding approximately 500 people daily.

Thank you to our partners for delivering such vital sustenance to those in need in Zimbabwe, during the holy month.
