Foundation publishes annual report, highlighting ten years of charitable endeavour

The Foundation’s 2017 annual report published today sets out the important work undertaken over the last ten years, as well as reporting on the latest financial year’s efforts.

Foundation Chairman Haroon Sheikh notes in the report that the Foundation has surpassed the landmark of serving one million plates of food at our various feeding projects in developing countries. Haroon also reports that the Foundation has established its first school and is actively pursuing further locations to provide essential educational services.

The report notes the Foundation’s continued work in local communities, across the UK and worldwide, providing awards and grants totalling £401,543 in the last year (2016: £320,595).

The report also highlights that the Foundation has established a substantial asset base on which it can build for a sustainable future. At the balance sheet date, the Foundation recorded cash assets of £1,151,157 (2016: £1,123,774) and investments of £1,148,191.
